Not a bad race i had in temecula , i swam and ran as
well as i could have. although i have to say the ride
was disappointing... i was riding strong but the
execution was lacking with a crash and a sloppy T2,,,
as well as i was unaware the 2nd loop was considerably
shortened which affected my pacing.
all in all that was such a blast. the ride was a treat
with the singletrack descending the ridgeline and
there was enough climbing to make it worthy. and the
run course as well, with the extensive trudging
through the sand wash.
for me it was absolutely enervating to go out and race
after all this time,,, it reinforces all the training
and hard work that sometimes seemed neverending over
the last 2 and a half years.

thanks for supporting me and setting me up with the
high end gear, that's great stuff!! i'm looking
forward to a few more xterra assaults with team
frontrunners this year, the best is yet to come!
