Notes from Bastion Ross

Dear Bastion



Are you tired of this heat? Are you starting to wilt in the broiling
sun? Have you plainly had enough? Scientists have known for decades that the
only assured way of causing it to rain is to go on a camping trip, or
failing that, the next best thing is to have a pool party. Bastion is going
to do its share to relieve the dog days of summer by heading to Lantzville
for our Saturday run on August 19th followed by an afternoon lazing around
and in Janet Wright's pool. We even supply the food and drinks. Mark it down
on your calendar and bring your favourite flotation devise and an umbrella
just in case. There are directions below and a pdf map attached.



Ross, here are the directions to our place - 6863 Eastwind Drive in Upper
Lantzville:



Going toward Parksville past Woodgrove Shopping Centre, turn LEFT onto
Superior Road, immediately cross railway tracks, and continue up Superior
Road as it curves to the right, then up a straight stretch, and then curves
left. Turn RIGHT onto Lorenzen Lane (it's the 3rd street on the right since
turning onto Superior Road). Down 1 long "block" of trees, turn RIGHT onto
Eastwind Drive, and we're the 2nd house on the LEFT (driveway is marked by 2
short brick pillars). There's ample parking either inside our property, or
on the road.
